Hi, I wonder if anyone can help me. In the case of a Scottish simplified divorce, once the papers have been filed at court, how long does the whole process take?

I hear talk of Decree Nisi and Decree Absolute but I am a little in the dark,

Many thanks

Helen.

In Scotland there s no nisi or absolute, just one divorce decree, and it takes 6- 8 weeks.
