What happens if you are in a relationship with someone else and going through divorce and financial settlement. You are considering living with them or even getting a mortgage together. Will this affect what you get in the financial settlement?

Yes, the other side can use it as you not requiring as much as a single person.
Best to avoid cohabitation, new partner etc until after the divorce settlement.
Ps it is also immoral while you are married ;)
