Hello everyone,

I am quite far down the divorce route and have had my conditional order granted. Everything is being held up by my partner being unable to get a CETV from the Teachers Pension. They applied in April and have been fobbed off ever since.
Is anyone else still waiting on a Teachers pension CETV?
Any advice for moving this forward?

many thanks

The lack of the CETV information doesn't have to be a complete barrier to progress.

For instance we sometimes have this issue when we are helping a couple through mediation.

It is possible - if all the other financial information is available - to still make progress and reach agreement on housing needs, maintenance etc

And you can even agree in principal on the treatment of pensions - e.g. we agree that pensions should be equalised.

So you can make progress, eg by mediating, during the next few months and when the CETV figures do come through they can be put in the D81 and the agreed Consent Order can be sent to court for approval.

If it is of any interest you can find out more about our mediation service by booking an appointment to speak to an advisor:

Thank you for your reply.
Everying thimg is agreed upon. We have all of the figures apart from this one CETV figure to add to the D81.
Am I correct in thinking that the D81 cannot be submitted without this?
Thanks in advance

It would be wise not to finalise any agreement until you have a valuation for the pension. The CETV does need to go on the D81.
