BBC Radio 4 is researching a programme on the financial settlement aspect of divorce. It will look at how the family law courts operate from the point of view of Litigants in Person (self representation).

We would like to speak to people who have gone through all three hearings in the ‘Financial Remedy’ (previously ‘Ancillary Relief’) process and would be willing to share their experiences of coping with this without legal representation.

PLEASE NOTE: Anonymity can be preserved and all names and details changed and/or obscured - to avoid identification if required.

If you are interested, then in the first instance please either send me a private message, or email me - This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

Hi Ruby Tuesday

Do they want people who self rep without a McKenzie Friend as I have a couple of people I helped as a McKenzie Friend at certain stages through the procedure who may want to share.

Best Wishes
Deborah

They are looking for litigants - it doesn''t matter if they had a MF to help them or not.

If your contacts are interested, could you ask them to email me in the first instance please?

Yes, of course, will pass on your email address to them and the link to this post to decide whether they want to be involved :)

Best Wishes
