BBC Radio 5 Live are looking to speak with Wikivorce members/guests for a forthcoming edition of the cutting edge programme, 5 Live Investigates, which will discuss Access to Justice, and the impact the removal of Legal Aid from Family Law cases has on people; and people''s experiences of self-representing.

The editor of the programme said

"We are interested in speaking to people who have personal experience of these situations.

Initially this is for our research only and will involve speaking to one of our reporters off the record on the phone. After this, if the person is comfortable to take part, then we will have a similar conversation but record it for the programme. We are conscious that some people may be in difficult situations and may prefer to be anonymous. This is fine, and we can either change the person’s name in our programme or alternatively, get an actor to voice up their words. Of course we will take care that their personal circumstances are respected."

This is a great opportunity to get across the many issues people face while self-representing, either due to no longer being eligible for legal aid, or simply because legal fees are unaffordable.
