Hi all,

I'm just looking for some feedback on the divoirce timeline in Scotland. My STBXW announced 5 weeks ago she wanted a divorce. There were a couple of issues, which were resolvable, but she didnt want to try. Obviously it has come as a shock but i have no option but to deal with it. Anyway, I'm looking to see if anyone can advise on their experience with the process/timeline? I signed a pre-nup pre marriage, so the financial matter is pretty cut and dry. She owns the house and we have no kids. All in all, pretty much a Clean Break. However, I have yet to receive anything from her socilitor. I would have also expected something via email/mail in terms of a seperation agreement, or any documenation pertaining to the divorce. I know its only been 5 weeks but should I not have received something by now? This isn't a case of me hoping shes changed her mind, she absolutely hasnt. I just thought that our circumstances probably makes the divorce pretty straight forward? The only correspondance i've had from her or her family states that its with the lawyers. Can anyone offer some guidance?
