Hi Everyone,
I''m getting so stressed since I have sent the Petition to the new divorce unit. I have enclosed the cover letter where I asked to pay the fee by debit card so I gave my phone number etc for them to contact me . However, it''s been amost a week and no one got back to me. I don''t actually even know if they received my petition! These new divorce units seems not to have even a telephone numbers to contact them. Has anyone been in similar sutuation and asked the court to pay the fee by card? If so how long it took them to call you? How can I check if my petition has been received? I''m so stressed and think about it all the time as I really need it to be sorted asap. Please help!

Try not to worry too much, the divorce units are new and have a bit of ''running in'' time.

Also, the backlog will be at least a couple of weeks if not more.
