Should you keep paying the mortgage in full for your ex partner if there is a child involved but you can barely afford it?! Not married. Will my small daughter grow up to hate me if I force the sale of house as this is what my ex girlfriend promised if I try to sell the house or get out of mortgage?!

Is it a jointly owned property with a joint mortgage?
Can the ex afford to pay it alone if you stop paying or will it go into arrears and affect your credit rating?
Are you paying CM at the CMS calculation rates on top of the mortgage?
Personally, I would pay the CM and then suggest that she either pay the mortgage or the house be sold. Ideally though I would want to sell.

it is jointly owned. although the only reason we got the mortgage is because i am working in a bank where i got it from and it is 100% financed so no real eqquity there.

I offered her to stay there and i pay for mortgage + alimony which more than 50% of my salary towards her for next 12 months until she finds place to rent plus a job as she decided to stop her job as she did not like the role..... she does have also external income from old work and government for next 12 months (we live in europe) at the least which more than enough to pay bills, other expenes as well kid. she also has a car that she refuses to sell but at end its her choice.

she refused my offer and told me that i should give her the 50% share in the apartment as present. stay paying the mortgage (and mortgage guarntee) and when she can, she will pay me.....alternivaly she told me she will make sure i will lose my job and not work in europe any more as i am on a visa here....

she also said the kid (small baby duaghter)will hate me and i will never see her again...

so really crazy situation at mom. i do not live there as i am worried she will try to provooke me as she did before then call police.

what should i do? how will that effect my relationoship with my daughter as this is the only thing i am most concerned about....

thank you
