Can anyone help. I’m desperate.In October 2019 a Consent Order was issued which led to me resigning from my position as company director of our family firm as well as employee. . At that point I lost my source of income. I had enough money to last until the family home was sold and my new business got off the ground, which I launched early in 2020. Then the Coronavirus hit. I had no previous years accounts. I have no sales in the pipeline. I am now effectively homeless and on Universal Credit whereas I did have a healthy salary/dividends. And my wife is dragging her hels over the sale of the family home which she still lives in and for which I am running up mortgage arrears. My question is: does anyone know of any scheme for the self-employed that I might be able to apply for? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
