My ex and I both signed a Consent Order last year so that she could keep the marital home. It's to be transferred into her name soley once she has transferred me £X. Now she has told me she can't give me this amount and she's refusing to put the house up for sale. House is paid for fully. This has been ongoing for 5 years now, I'm so fed up of it I am afraid she is going to end up with everything and me nothing. Any advice as to what I should do? I really don't want to fork out more money on solicitors having already paid over £10k.

What is the deadline for transferring £x and what does the order say happens if she doesn’t?
If it says house is to go up for sale apply to court for this to be enforced and ask that you have sole conduct of sale.

The deadline is by August this year. The order says the house is to go up for sale. I get what you're saying about having sole conduct of sale. My issue is she is the one living in the house and I live in another city, so how is this going to work. She is being stubborn as hell.

Not much you can do before August.
If she fails to meet the deadline then you’ll have to return to court. Not much point waiting around as the original deadline is generous.
What does the court order say about conduct of the sale, asking price etc?

What do you mean, not much point waiting around? Like you said, there's not much I can do til the deadline.
It just says if x amount is not paid by deadline then the house is to be put up for sale immediately. We have already agreed on the asking price of the home. But it does not specify who is to conduct the sale.

Hello, this is still an ongoing issue with deadline approaching shortly.
if the consent order is breached, what will actually happen, does anybody know? As ive searched on here for the issue and in most cases, the courts dont seem overly bothered about doing anything,
