Hi,
Can somebody please give me a answer to my question please.
me and my ex husband are official divorced now and he's wanting to put a mesher order in place. We have a house together and he's moved out and I still live in the home with my 2 children and my new partner. Can he still do this though we are completely divorced now?

Have you got a court order dividing up your assets and severing your financial ties? This is separate to the actual divorce.

If not you need to agree how everything will divided and one of you needs to apply to court.

A Mesher order would be unusual if you have a new partner living with you as that is often one of the triggers to force you to pay your ex the amount they are due from the house.
